#2 Never have I ever. If you haven’t heard of this game, you’re seriously missing out. This is usually played at most parties with a group of people, but it’s also really fun to play with a date because it’ll help you learn more about them and see what you have in common.
The rules are fairly simple. One person says something they’ve never done before and if the other person HAS done that, they drink. It’s an easy way to take the edge off and get to know your new date. You have 5 drinks to take before you lose. Whoever runs out of their 5 drinks first is the loser and has to take a shot.
#3 Two truths, one lie. This is another game that can be played without alcohol, but drinking just makes it so much more fun. You probably have played this at work or at school in order to get to know someone.
In order to make this a drinking game, all you have to go is give your date two truths and one lie about you and if they guess the lie correctly, you drink. If they guess it incorrectly, they drink.
#4 1-2-3 tag. Now, this game can be a little tricky with someone who you’re only on a first or second date with. But if you’re planning a date night with someone who you’ve been with for a while, it’s perfect.
This is where you ask each other the same question and then on the count of three, you answer it and see if your date can guess your answer correctly. For example, one question would be, “What is my favorite song?” and on the count of 3, you answer what your favorite song is and your date tries to answer what your favorite song is.
#5 Quarters. This game is really simple and can be done while watching a movie at home or even waiting for the pizza to arrive for a movie night. All you need to have is two cups and a quarter. Then you take turns bouncing the quarter into your date’s cup. If you make it, they have to drink their whole drink and vice versa.
#6 Mustache and a movie. This is a really comical game that will have the both of you laughing and enjoying a great movie. To place this, you need to invest in a fake mustache. Then, you place it on your TV at random and turn on the movie. Whenever the mustache is placed on someone’s face right above their lip – where it would really be – you take a drink.
#7 Buzz. This game requires you to be good at math and pay close attention! This would be perfect if you’re cooking dinner together or even just waiting for your food at a restaurant.
All you have to do is count. The trick is that every time you get to a multiple of 7, you have to say “buzz.” The goal is to count as quickly as you can, and if either of you forgets to say “buzz,” you drink and start over. See how high you can get!
#8 Mario Kart. How many of you have played this super fun game? Sure, video games may not be the best choice for a date idea, but if your date is really into this kind of thing and gets competitive, it’s perfect.
#9 Uno. Uno is pretty much a staple card game in most homes. It’s really fun and easy to play, and it’s even one of the great drinking games for two. Although this is usually played with more people, you can play it with just two and have a ton of fun.
The rules are simple. All you have to do is play the game normally, but if a wild card emerges, both people drink. And if a “draw 2” or “draw 4” card is put down, the person it’s meant for drinks. Loser takes a shot at the end!
#10 Scrabble with a twist. If you’re a words person and you want to have a good time playing scrabble while a movie plays, you can turn this game into a drinking game easy.
